The Role
In this role,
you will be the face of Sulco, providing exceptional product knowledge and
customer service to a variety of customers. You will bring with you a
strong desire to succeed and be passionate about our customers. Previous
customer service and/or sales experience would be an advantage.
About Us:
Sulco offers the
widest range of specialised automotive and mechanical hand tools and automotive
equipment available from any one supplier in NZ. We supply protective
anti-corrosion tape coatings to the pipeline industry, wet wipes products to
the Supermarket and Healthcare industries plus a range of outdoor power
products. Sulco operates from a modern 5,000 square meter office and warehouse
facility in Manukau City. We offer timely solutions and complete back up after
sales service.
Specific Duties
Include:
o
Greeting customers and listening to their
requirements
o
Providing friendly and accurate advice
o
Phone sales and queries
o
Providing support for our Sales Team
o
Working closely as a team to meet sales targets
o
Ensuring the branch is always well stocked and
presentable to customers.

experience in a customer service role

SERVICE
TECHNICIAN

The Role
We are currently
seeking a Service Technician to join their team. You will be hands on providing
technical support and repairs for our wide range of automotive equipment.
Previous experience in a similar position is required, you may be a motor
mechanic with a bent for electronics and wanting to use your skills in a
different environment. An electrical
qualification would be an advantage.
You will bring a
strong desire to learn, be enthusiastic and be able to work unsupervised. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will
ensure your success in the role.

Responsibilities
Include:
o Technical trouble shooting & repairing
equipment both in house and on site in customers workshops
o Inspecting and preparing new equipment for deliver
o Assisting with equipment installations
o Completing paperwork, job cards and timesheets in a
timely manner

The Role:
In this role you will be based on the road, seeking new business opportunities,
or selling to our already established customers. Products are sold directly
from our mobile sales van with the support of our customer service team in
Manukau. You will assist our trade customers in finding the best products, to
meet their needs, and ensure that they receive a level of service superior to
what our competitors offer
Specific duties include:
o
Visiting
our trade customer base
o
Developing
and maintaining a structured itinerary
o
Building
lasting business relationships with new and existing customers
o
Providing
accurate and friendly advice superior to that of our competitors
o
Maintaining
a high standard of branch presentation
Skills and Experience Required:
o
Sales
experience in a relationship-based sales role - as a sales representative or
account manager is preferred but not essential
o
Achievement
orientated, enthusiastic, motivated and a team player
o
Proven
ability to increase profit margins and grow market share
o
A
friendly and positive attitude
o
Clear
communication style
o
Good
attention to detail
o
A
background in tools, industrial or trade services
o
Willingness
to learn!
Remuneration is by way of salary with
a commission on sales. The more you sell the more you can earn. There is no cap
on commission, the sky is the limit!
