The STAC Coating System is a petrolatum based, multilayer barrier designed to isolate all metal surfaces. STAC systems were developed for long term protection of metal surfaces in the most severe atmospheric, buried and submerged environments.

Petrolatum has a proven history of use in New Zealand and has been produced under a number of brands. The advantage of the STAC system over its competitors is its wider application temperature range (-5 to + 55 Deg C). This means the product remains more malleable for difficult surface profiles and is easier to apply.This is an important consideration given New Zealands lower ambient temperatures.

The STAC Coating System is not a form of paint but rather a foolproof, multi-purpose, hand-applied membrane wrap system. STAC coatings are applied over wire-brushed surfaces so no abrasive blasting is required.

The STAC Coating System consists of: STACprime, STACfill, STACwrap and STACguard.
