About Sulco
Sulco Ltd is a private NZ company that has been operating under existing family ownership since 1971. The company was originally started by Jack Sullivan in Wanganui in the mid-1950s. In 1979 the head office was moved to Auckland. In November 2007 Sulco moved to a new warehouse and office facility at 1 Orb Avenue in Manukau, South Auckland.
Sulco stocks a wide range of products that are marketed through a number of divisions. Product lines include: A huge range of hand tools suited to the automotive and mechanical trades and the professional tool user. The tool division operates 25 mobile sales vans throughout the country and also sells to reseller outlets.
A comprehensive range of workshop equipment including vehicle lifts, under car servicing equipment, brake testers and brake servicing equipment, wheel servicing equipment, air tools and air compressors, welders, hydraulic equipment, air jacks, pit jacks, etc. These products are supported by factory trained sales and after sales service staff. Sulco can offer full turnkey supply lines for the complete fit out of automotive service workshops.
Sulco Pipelines promotes corrosion protection systems for pipelines both above and below ground plus a wide range of related pipeline accessories and equipment products. Sulco has enjoyed a 35 year history with major suppliers in the industry including the brand names Polyken and Raychem. Sulco employs specialty engineering staff to market the pipeline divisions products. Sulco also specialises in products for the cathodic protection of steel structures.
In 2005 Sulco re-entered the Outdoor Power Products market by introducing a range of products including Generator Sets, Stationary Engines, Water Pumps and Pressure Washers. Sales are directed through appointed servicing dealers throughout the country.
The Consumer Division markets a range of wet wipes to the supermarket industry plus specialised industry players. Products include Baby Wipes, Household Cleaning Wipes, Disinfectant Wipes, marketed under the Companies registered brand names, Precious, Wee Ones, Mediwipes, and Sadies. New innovative products in this segment are undergoing ongoing development.
